Frequently Asked Questions
Why does it take 12 months to receive my trophies?
The trophies goes through a process of complicated handling to be able to first get it in the wokshop like transport Veterinary inspection and the Import/Export paper work. You can roughly work on 3-5 months before the trophies is transported into Europeor USA. Then the tanning, skin preparation and mounting can take up to 6 months.
Why is your quotation way more than your competitors?
We are one of the few taxidermy companies that offers a complete all inclusive concept. The price you get is from the day we collect your trophies at the Farm, until we deliver the finished workat your delivery address in all EU countries and the USA. Non EU countries, we deliver this to an incoming broker/agent, to handle the final delivery.
Why does my skin have hairloss
Hair loss issues, whether minor or major, occur in approximately 5-10% of the skins we receive. It’s a common misconception to attribute blame solely to the handling party. Contributing factors to hair loss can include prolonged exposure to sun/heat in the field, stress during the hunt (e.g., wounded), delayed skinning post-mortem, improper salting techniques, or skin sickness (e.g., bacteria, mites).
